Welcome to our page covering our home state of Queensland, affectionally known as “The Sunshine State”. Queensland is well known as a tourist destination and with attractions like the Gold Coast, the heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and outback towns like Longreach, we have ourselves yet to experience all it has to offer. Our hometown of Townsville is in tropical North Queensland.

Queensland people are very parochial, especially when it comes to their sport of rugby league. At State of Origin time, you’ll often hear people randomly chant “QUEENSLANDER !”
